Llandudno West Shore: Tranquility and Beauty

The Sandringham Hotel is the ideal base from which to enjoy the beautiful sights of North Wales; castles, mountains and the coast are all within easy reach.

The Hotel is located on West Parade which runs along the coastline of the West Shore and the beach is just at the other side of the road.

Simply by turning right out of the hotel front door you are on the path to the Great Orme which dominates the northern skyline. The Orme has a ski slope and toboggan run for those looking for thrills!

Another right and you are on your way towards the East Shore and Llandudno town where you will find the promenade, pier, shops and the crowds.

Within walking distance we also have a local golf course which caters for visiting golfers and occasional players.

For the more adventurous, or those with us for a longer stay, within easy driving distance is the Snowdownia National Park with its many walks and sights, the castles of Conwy, Harlech and Cearnarfon, a Multiplex Cinema, the Llyn Peninsula with its quaint villages and towns, Colwyn Bay Zoo, Portmeirion Italianate Village, Bodnant Gardens, Beddgelert and Aber Falls.

All in all, there is a lot to take in. Or, you could just come and relax with us at the only hotel on the West Shore, and enjoy the peace and quiet.
